The competition started in 2004 as a district competition and has grown in the last five years to be a national competition with over 50 primary school children participating from the fifth and sixth grades representing over 30 primary schools competing for great prizes.

The Institute of Archaeology, NICH and the Belize Tourism Board hereby offer the Surface and Still Rescue Water Course. Please note that all tour guides who wish to continue to conduct cave tubing tourism at the Noch Hoch Cheen Archaeological Reserve must take and pass the Rescue Water Course.
